Quick flick of a young woman shoveling over a foot of snow from the sidewalk outside her door after a blizzard dropped snow all day long and into the late evening the day prior to this video, on the Winter Solstice of December 21, 2008. This was the second time that this section of the sidewalk was shoveled. Official estimates were 14.5 inches of accumulation, but many localized areas experienced even higher numbers.
